Attorney Sidi Gu has years of practical experience in the U.S. immigration law. He is the licensed attorney of New York State, the barrister of the U.S. Federal Court, and the active member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA). As a striver of the first-generation immigrant, Attorney Gu is fully aware of the hardships of the U.S. immigration path and he is also very familiar with the various challenges that need to be faced in the immigration process. How to use his professional skills and rich experience to accurately help the people with immigration needs to solve legal problems, and fulfill their dreams of immigrating to the United States is what Attorney Gu has been committed to accomplishing for many years.
After obtaining a bachelor's degree with honors from the School of Foreign Languages of Nanjing Normal University, China in 2008, Attorney Gu had resolutely embarked on his path to study in the United States. He first obtained a master's degree in international development from Tulane University, School of Law in New Orleans in 2011, and finally obtained his Juris Doctor (JD) from Loyola University in New Orleans in 2016. These educational experiences cultivate him to become a qualified lawyer in the United States.
Before the establishment of Sinhery Law Office, Attorney Gu already had many years of practicing experience in the field of immigration. He had achieved outstanding results in the fields of employment-based immigration, family-based immigration and immigration courts. Attorney Gu has successfully handled hundreds of cases including labor certification (RIR & PERM), national interest waiver (NIW), alien with extraordinary ability (EB-1), specialty worker visa (H-1B), Intracompany Transferee Executive (L) and other non-immigrant/immigrant applications. Attorney Gu has also provided his clients with solutions for asylum, and immigration/federal courts.
Attorney Sidi Gu can communicate in Mandarin and English fluently. He has a wide range of interests besides his professionality, such as hiking, bonsai, coffee, music, and cuisine.
